Introduction

The final DLC for Mass Effect 2 is upon us. This would serve as the conclusion to the 2nd chapter in the series and will provide a bridge to the ensuing Reaper invasion in Mass Effect 3. “Lair of the Shadow Broker”, a prior DLC, featured some of the best missions throughout the entire game. I would even go beyond and say that it was one of the best DLCs that XBox Live had to offer. So how does this one live up to the same hype?

Review: Sword & Sworcery EP

All too often games on the iPad and iPhone feel shoehorned onto the platform. From the control scheme, to the pacing of the gameplay, to the presentation of the game, these can all feel unnatural as if the game were never originally intended to be played on the device. The first year or so of the Nintendo DS felt very much like this, with developers still trying to figure out how to design for the unique handheld. Which is why it is so remarkable that everything about Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery: EP feels intuitively made for the iPad.

Introduction

With less then a year since its release on the consoles Capcom has ported their flagship fighting franchise as a launch title for the 3DS with new 3d functionality. As a handheld version of a fighting game with a large hardcore fan base would it be realistic to expect the same kind of experience on the 3DS?

3DS: Initial Impressions

Unlike most new system releases the 3DS is being released with very little fan fare. Most view it much like the PSP Go, a slight improvement over the original but not a revolutionary new system. Don't let the same size and shape fool you though, as the 3ds IS the new generation of handheld gaming - not just because of the "gimmick" of 3d, but because of the drastically faster processor, graphics engine, and an integrated OS with far more advanced built in software to do more with the system then just play games.
